Dr. Omid Abbaszadeh is a medical doctor (holding MD degree since 2015) and clinical researcher with nearly a decade of experience specializing in neurology and Multiple Sclerosis (MS). His professional journey has been driven by a passion for advancing the early diagnosis and understanding of neurological disorders, with a particular focus on MS. He has been at the forefront of pioneering neuroimaging research at the Neuroscience Research Center and the fMRI research lab at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz, Iran. By leveraging cutting-edge neuroimaging modalities, he aims to uncover new insights into the complexities of neurological diseases and translate these findings into innovative diagnostic tools. Proficient in Python, he has contributed to developing computational solutions that enhance the team’s diagnostic capabilities, bridging the gap between clinical research and technological innovation. His work is deeply rooted in a commitment to pushing the boundaries of medical research in neurology and neuroradiology, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care and treatment outcomes. His research background was built during his studying years as a medical student at Tabriz university of medical sciences in Tabriz, Northwest of Iran; which has led to a number of publications, congress presentations and editorials in Neurology and Multiple Sclerosis and also acting as the scientific and research methodology consultant at the university Research and Development Center and also reviewer for many medical journals and scientific events. He is passionate about fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and driving breakthroughs that can make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and the broader medical community.
Dr. Abbaszadeh’s current research interests are focused on early detection and diagnosis of neurologic diseases with a specific focus on Multiple Sclerosis using pioneering neuroimaging data.
